![]() Then there are those of you who are a little more cautious but understand that there are some advantages to adopting new technologies. You’re the first to try it – either because it’s cool or you think it’s going to be great for your business. You are the people I consider you to be on the bleeding edge of technology. You pre-order the newest iPhone and have to have the latest app or software as a service platform within your business and personal life. Some of you out there are early adopters of everything. Let’s take a look at what drives the adoption of technology within your small business – should your business be on the leading edge or the bleeding edge of technology? Are you on the bleeding edge of technology?Įvery day you are bombarded by new technology that you “should” implement in your small business. Technology has become critical for small businesses to run and grow their businesses. One of the most prevalent themes in the articles, blog posts, books, and other headlines I run across is technology. I'll happily keep it if they have plans on implementing a VS AI mode in the future, otherwise I'll be getting my money back.I try to read as much as possible to keep up with the latest trends affecting banking, small business, and commercial real estate. I've got a two-week window to get a Steam refund, so I'll wait a little bit in case we get any dev updates on this front. Unfortunately though, with PvP being the sole game mode, I guess it just isn't for me. ![]() ![]() And from what I played in the Dojo, I really dig the gameplay, too. This is a very cool game and I love the creativity of all the characters. BE at launch really does still feel like its in a beta-state. Sure, the balancing was probably not nearly as refined as in BE and BE has a lot more customization with its mod system, but even still, there's a lot that just seems to be lacking regardless of being a budget title. Just as a comparison, that game managed to have a full-fledged story mode (from 2 perspectives, no less!), 18 characters, 13 game modes spanning around 20 different maps, great graphics, dynamic gameplay, and one hell of a badass soundtrack. I kid you not, my friends and I have dumped hundreds of hours in those games, all against bots, and we always had a blast.Īs for this game being a "budget title," so was Anarchy Reigns. On top of that, their VS AI modes reward you fairly with their respective in-game currencies so that you don't feel punished for playing against bots instead of humans, nor do you feel forced to jump into competitive play. I know this game is designed as PvP first and foremost, but so are games like For Honor and Heroes of the Storm, yet they offer VS AI options for when you just don't feel like dealing with toxic players (and that applies to teammates and opponents) or when you just wanna have some chill, stress-free matches with your friends. I'm not gonna try and convince someone why I enjoy playing games the way I play. I know people may flame me over this, but that's fine. Very reminiscent of Street Fighter V's abysmal launch if anyone remembers that (they lacked a VS AI option as well). You'd think this would be a pretty standard inclusion for a fighter, but I had a feeling they were gonna leave it out.
